East Coast Language College/Oxford International - IELTS Venue

Rebranded in 2021 as East Coast Language College/Oxford International - IELTS Venue, ECLC began with three classes, three teachers, and three students in 1998. Word-of-mouth growth was due to students' expectations for individual attention and excellent airplane classes. Students trust us because we treat them with kindness and respect and do what we promise. All of the staff cares about the success and support of our students and follows the same values. Approved by Nova Scotia as a Private Career College in 2016, East Coast International College was introduced, offering ACE TESOL teacher certification and the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA certificate) program. ECLC was owned since 1998 by Donna-Lynn Leblanc, and Sheila Nunn joined in 2008. The school joined the Oxford International Education Group in 2021. Sheila and the college made the transition to become ECLC/OIEG. This was an excellent decision for the school and college as we became part of a more extensive team with schools in Toronto and Vancouver. Sheila is now part of the ECLC/OIEG school team. Sheila works closely with her new School Director, Matha, who greets the students and other visitors, oversees the school's operations, and supervises the instructors and administrators. They are supported by an amazing team of instructors, administrators, homestay families, and other partners. This team is ECLC's students' and future students' foundation of hope, success, and happiness, and together they make English a language that lasts a lifetime.
