In May 2014, Lindsay Fraser founded elle dance academy. "I knew my dream was becoming reality very soon, so I had to get the perfect name," says Lindsay. Her family constantly ran into chaos, but it was always the most important thing to her. Lindsay's mom refused to let her quit dancing when she was five. Lindsay's mother Michelle knew how much dance meant to her. Lindsay's older sister Raechelle was her first student. Lindsay started choreographing for her sister when she was still in junior secondary school. "Rae was my baby, I wanted her to shine and so I drove her crazy," says Lindsay. The name Elle means hard work, support, and dedication, which is the essence of the company today. It is also a tribute to Lindsay’s mother Michelle and sister Raechelle. They played a significant role in the studio’s name. Lindsay is confident that she can create a top-notch dance studio with the resilience and support she received from her parents. This introductory class, open to young dancers who aren’t ready to leave their parents for dance class, also requires a parent to attend. Recital: Dancers are invited to perform in the year-end recital in May 2023. Date TBD. Details TBD. This introductory class offers basic ballet techniques. Dancers will also learn simple movements across the floor and have fun.
