Unreliable and Unprofessional Booked and paid the deposit. after waiting the hour buffer for them and arrive, no show... called them, got through right away, was told they would call back....waited ..then called back and they wouldn't answer ..tried different numbers with the same avail, had others call on my behalf...same thing... 4 hours later they completely blocked me . Different excuses and alternate times to get to me.... nothing ....

This was beyond stressful and the worst experience with a NS business ever. They have not responded to any of my calls or emails since June 2 asking for a solution. I cannot believe that someone could treat a person this way and expect to not deal with the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for your move. First, the movers called at 8:58 am stating they would be late showing up as they had to get more tools and there was traffic. The move was supposed to be at 9. The two guys showed up around 9:30. Then when originally booking through the head office number, I was informed that the team would properly wrap and protect furniture during move. This however did not occur as a couple of the heavier pieces were only half wrapped and the blankets were taped but falling completely off when in mid move. This lack of properly wrapping led to damages in mid move on the dresser. In addition to the damage to the dresser, there was also significant damage to the walls and a small damage to the hardwood floor. Next, one of the team members was not able to lift and move items. My guy friend who was there was then asked to move the items (furniture). The reason we hired and paid $740 was to have professional movers come in and it be efficient and to ensure that the house was not damaged and that someone else did the work of moving. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HELP MOVE ANYTHING. This is down right unacceptable. Your team member, I was told, was not able to lift anything heavier over 130 pounds (with two people) and they are only used to moving Ikea furniture. This is not a good reason. If your company has hired someone where their job is to move items, then a customer should expect to have competent and able workers who can safely move any items. So we did the work for your company! Then when at the new location I was there way before them and even had a Bell Aliant employee come and hook up internet and leave during the time I waited for them to arrive. Not efficient on time. Only one worker proceeded to set things up- one worker was working while the other (same person who couldn't lift anything in Dartmouth), stood around and watched. I asked him why he was doing nothing and he said "oh sorry we only have one screwdriver"... While one team member was putting the King bed frame together all by himself, the other could have been putting the legs on the couches and getting them moved in place. So the timing on this move was not productive and could have been done in less time. So overall, this experience was not positive at all. And the lack of responses by email and phone is unreal. They do not care about their business or take pride in helping Nova Scotians. I would never ever recommend this company.
