Hnatiuk's Gun Range and Scotia Gun Club have been operational since August 2014. Hnatiuk’s Hunting and Fishing Store in Lantz, NS, now has a new business initiative. Our 25-meter heated indoor range features seven shooting lanes and an automated retrieval system. In addition, it has a modern air filtration and exchange system that surpasses industry standards. Our equipment is so well-made that many law enforcement and government agencies have accepted it as a training venue.
Our Range Safety Officers are well-trained and experienced. They have the National Firearms Association Range officer Qualification, as well as Hnatiuk’s Range Specific Training. The range is one of the few in the Maritimes that does not require shooters to be licensed. Our clients can purchase different packages that allow them to shoot with a Range Officer.
Hnatiuk's Range also serves as the administrator of Scotia Gun Club. The club has over 400 regular shooters. Members select different packages to gain access to the range.
Basic membership allows a shooter the chance to access the range from 10:00 am until 8:00 PM Monday through Friday. It also provides access to the facility on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 8:00 PM. It is also available on Sundays from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Members who want to shoot after these hours can buy a membership that allows them to access the range 24/7.
