The Beginning of New Avenue Leadership As a child, I always dreamt of having a successful career later in life. My initial steps towards achieving this dream saw me work for an adult training company that provided high-quality leadership development programs. I had set my sights on becoming a facilitator in the interactive courses the company offered. To attain this role, I had to excel in a 6-month training program known as the “facilitator-training.” This training programme is still one of the scariest and most rewarding learning experiences I have ever had. I was ashamed of myself and wanted to leave. However, I knew that I had to speak clearly to pass this test.
