Powerhouse Wash

It is seldom I have written a negative review about work we have had done but am so disappointed and discouraged about the job Austin Kitchen did power washing our place that I feel it necessary. The job washing the house is an okay job but he had been asked to do the decks as well as the patio table and the 4 chair frames, quote he gave included these. The decks are clearly not well done, railings and spindles both inside and outside seem not to have been touched. Two chairs and table were somewhat done. Two chairs were never touched. He left a dirty spray over the 2 cane chairs , coffee table and small settee. When asked about the sides of the deck, he told me first that that they were too old to do and would break. This doesn’t make sense as they are fine, besides the amount of pressure used should be able to be adjusted. When my husband inquired he changed his answer to say he had put on a wash that would take a week or so to work. We are in doubt but guess, time will tell. Our neighbours have asked if we had our cleaning done yet, the day after he finished the job. Another person said, “ What a sh..ty job ! So sad for having spent almost $500.00! What a waste of money, especially for seniors on a limited income. Definitely will not be recommending this company. As a note, we have had our house and decks cleaned many times in the past and always had a wonderful experience with everything looking lovely. Unfortunately, that person retired and closed his company. Our loss! If Mr Austin reads this perhaps he will contact us to rectify this issue.
