Case Brief:
Gyani Samsher Singh, head priest at Sikh temple Jakarta, Indonesia had applied for visitor visa to visit his adult kids who were studying and working in Canada. His Visa application was refused and further was put on ban for a period of 5 years, due to some misrepresentation in his visa application. He approached me for assistance and guidance, and since we stay in Indonesia it was difficult to take this forward.
Through one of the immigration consultant I came to know about Mr Makkar. I spoke to him over phone during November 2022 and based on his knowledge and advise, we decided to proceed with judicial review on visa application in Federal Court of Canada.
Legal Process:
During the entire process of judicial Review, Mr. Makkar guided us from A – Z and in dealing with him we found that he is one of the most genuine and knowledgeable immigration lawyer. The entire legal process took almost 1 year and went through several phases of ups and down, which was not easy to deal with as we stay in different Geographical region with time difference of 13 hours. During this entire process he was empathetic, honest and transparent. More so we found him to be quite reasonable in his fees.
Finally after one year, the court judgement came in our favour and the decision of immigration authorities on visa rejection and misrepresentation was set aside.
We are so thankful to Mr. Makkar for his hard work with proper advice and guidance at every stage.
