About this business
The Burlington Gymnastics Club (BGC) is Burlington's largest and most established gym club. BGC is a non-profit organization based in Burlington and was established in 1968. BGC has been part of Gymnastics Ontario since 1977. BGC did start as an after-school gym program, but now it has over 1,000 members annually across two locations: the north (Mainway) and the south (Maple) gyms. BGC also hosted Canada's largest gymnastics invitational competition: the Spring Cup. Burlington Gymnastics Club offers two gymnastics programs: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics. These programs have competitive and inclusive levels to cater to all gymnasts. In addition to their work, many of our coaches have a certification from BGC and adhere to Gymnastics Canada Safe Sport principles. Regular professional development activities help each gymnast grow in mind and body. BGC-trained gymnasts have become leaders within the gym and in the community. Burlington's excellent partnership with BGC has made it possible to provide quality programs for the community.
