Robert W. Young

Robert W. Young was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and has been practicing Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Law since 1998. Robert holds an undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Hamilton and his law degree from the University of Western Ontario. He has been a part-time instructor at Mohawk College and a trustee of the Hamilton Law Association. Robert has regularly contributed to the Hamilton Law Association magazine, Immigration Issues, since 1991. In 2005, the Law Society of Ontario certified Robert to be a specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law. Robert was part of the Law Society of Ontario’s team of lawyers that drafted the Qualifying Standards of Immigration and Refugee Law Specialists, under the Law Society’s Specialist Certification Program.
