HOW REVIEWS WORK AT TRUSTANALYTICA

Reviews on TrustAnalytica are genuine, first-hand accounts written by real customers. Every review submitted on TrustAnalytica is checked by our moderation team against the guidelines below before it is published — no review submitted on our platform is auto-published. This page explains exactly how the process works, what we accept, what we decline, and how businesses can respond.

1. The life of a review

1.1 A customer writes it. Reviews are written by people describing their own experience with a business. TrustAnalytica never writes, commissions, or rewords reviews.

1.2 Our moderation team checks it. Every review submitted on TrustAnalytica is held for moderation and checked against these guidelines before it goes live. Reviews that do not meet the guidelines are declined, and the reviewer may be invited to resubmit without the offending content.

1.3 It is published — positive or negative. If a review meets our guidelines, it is published whether it is five stars or one. We do not suppress negative reviews, and we do not remove guideline-compliant reviews at a business's request.

1.4 The business can respond. Every business has a right of reply: it can post a public response to any review, and it can report a review it believes breaks these guidelines by contacting [email protected]. Reported reviews are re-examined by a moderator against these same guidelines, and the outcome is recorded.

2. Genuine, human-written reviews only

2.1 A review must describe a real, first-hand experience, in the reviewer's own words. We may decline or remove reviews that appear to be AI-generated, bot-submitted, copied, or otherwise not written by the customer describing their own experience.

2.2 We may also decline or remove reviews that appear to have been paid for, incentivized, or exchanged for a benefit, whether positive or negative, and reviews that appear to come from a business owner, employee, or competitor rather than a customer.

3. What we publish

3.1 First-hand experiences, where the reviewer (or their immediate family) dealt with the business directly.

3.2 Honest opinions, including harsh ones. Criticism of a business or of the professional conduct of its people — the owner, a lawyer, a technician, a receptionist acting in their role — is legitimate review content.

3.3 Specific details of the service received, described as the reviewer's own experience.

4. What we decline

4.1 Reviews with no apparent customer relationship, or that appear to come from a competitor.

4.2 Reviews that appear AI-generated, bot-submitted, incentivized, or duplicated (see section 2).

4.3 Accusations of crimes or fraud stated as fact against a named person.

4.4 Content about a person's private life unrelated to the service, or personal information such as private phone numbers, home addresses, or the names of uninvolved bystanders and other customers.

4.5 Hate speech, threats, spam, and advertising.

5. Ratings and reviews cannot be bought

5.1 Paid plans never change a business's star rating or the content of its reviews. A business cannot pay to add, edit, hide, or remove a review, and it cannot pay for a better rating. Moderation decisions are made against these published guidelines only — never against whether a review is favorable, and never against whether the business is a paying customer.

6. Reviews from other platforms

6.1 Business profiles on TrustAnalytica may also display reviews collected from other platforms, such as Google. These are always shown with their source and are moderated by the platform they were originally posted on, under that platform's own rules. The moderation process described on this page applies to reviews submitted on TrustAnalytica.

7. Disputes and removal requests

7.1 If you are a business and believe a review violates these guidelines, contact [email protected] with a link to the review and the reason. A moderator will re-examine the review against the published guidelines — not against whether the review is unfavorable — and you will receive the outcome. Reviews found to violate the guidelines are removed; compliant reviews stay, and your public response remains the best tool for telling your side.

8. What reviews are — and aren't

8.1 Reviews on TrustAnalytica are the opinions and reported experiences of their authors, not statements by TrustAnalytica. We check every review submitted on our platform for compliance with these guidelines, but we are not in a position to independently verify every factual detail of a reviewer's experience, and we do not endorse the views expressed.
