Our goal is to support each person to have a meaningful successful future. Brian has had professional experience in healthcare and developmental services as a senior leader. He also has a vast knowledge of government and community services. Brian has lived and worked in Waterloo Region for over thirty years and knows the area. He has experience of living in a region where people with disabilities have to interact with government and community support services. Brian understands the value of non-profits in the area and their role in vulnerable people's lives and the families that they support. Brian holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Windsor. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Alberta, Canada, and former Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE). He was awarded the 2018 AdvantAge Ontario Long Term Care Leadership Award. He holds a graduate certificate from the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership at the University of B.C.’s Sauder School of Business. Brian has also studied nonprofit management. He is a graduate of the 2014 Leadership Waterloo Region program from Conestoga College University. Brian has also completed the Public Sector Executive Leadership Institute Program at Queen's University in 2021.
