We are dedicated to improving the quality of life based on the individual goals and aspirations of persons with Autism or other physical and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to support each person to have a meaningful successful future. Brian has had professional experience in healthcare and developmental services as a senior leader. He also has a vast knowledge of government and community services. Brian has lived and worked in Waterloo Region for over thirty years and knows the area. He has experience of living in a region where people with disabilities have to interact with government and community support services. Brian understands the value of non-profits in the area and their role in vulnerable people's lives and the families that they support. Brian holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Windsor. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Alberta, Canada, and former Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE). He was awarded the 2018 AdvantAge Ontario Long Term Care Leadership Award. He holds a graduate certificate from the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership at the University of B.C.’s Sauder School of Business. Brian has also studied nonprofit management. He is a graduate of the 2014 Leadership Waterloo Region program from Conestoga College University. Brian has also completed the Public Sector Executive Leadership Institute Program at Queen's University in 2021.
