Newborns are the primary subject in my photos, typically between five and twenty days old, with some at just one month old. At this age, infants tend to be asleep most of the time, permitting me to move them as necessary to pose them in a cozy, curled-up position. You do not have to worry about their safety; the baby will always be kept snug and comfortable. My work is simple and unadorned, focused on the newborn, with only a few props. The goal is to focus on the baby, not to overshadow their natural beauty with an excess of elements. Newborn sessions take place in my London, Ontario studio and last two to three hours. I and the baby are in a warm room with white noise playing in the background. Light snacks and drinks are available. You are welcome to join me in the newborn session.
