Donna is the proprietor and artistic director at Dance Steps. She has a RAD Teaching Diploma and is a certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She was a supervisor for the Royal Academy of Dance CBTS teacher training program. Donna started her dance training at the London Academy of Dance and Theatre Arts in London ON when she was 12 years old under the tutelage of Dorothy Scruton, who was passionate about her dancing at the academy. The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Programme continued her formal dance education. She also danced for three seasons in the RWB Professional Programme Concert Hour Ballet and toured with the RWB Company. She performed with the Professional Programme in The Nutcracker, and Les Sylphides. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from The University of Western Ontario. Donna was involved with Purple Patches Musical Theatre Productions during her undergrad years, either as a choreographer or performer. Jazz Dance was taught in a studio that she had started.
