Carlos D. Guerra was born in a businessman’s home. He started working early in life. He started his first hardware store at the age of 23, which was the foundation for his journey to launching his own construction business. He studied and got a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He was a business young man and also got his first teaching job at Autonoma University, Littoral University in Colombia. He was forced to leave Colombia because of the political situation. He left Colombia and stayed in New York where he started a travel agency and worked for seven years. Later on in Colombia, he got a new business supplying imported electric materials from China. He decided to move to Canada in 2005 because the political situation was not changing much. He tried many options in Canada and was open to new ideas. He began working part-time as a contractor in 2009 while still in sales. He dreamt of owning a company. Carlos founded Davinci Contractors Company in 2012 and started working part-time in painting and renovating. It was very difficult to penetrate such a competitive industry. Davinci Contractor earned its place through its quality and excellent customer service. Carlos also used all his networking knowledge over the past 40 years.
