RJ's Movers

RJ's Movers was founded by Robert James Millar, my father, in 1969, when he began local store delivery. Approximately six months after some of his clients requested RJ's services, he bought his first mover large enough to carry trucks in 1970. London was in need of a trustworthy, transparent moving business. In 1974, he married Janet, my mother and the office manager of RJ. She is also responsible for residential wrapping. Katharine and I established the company in the 1990s, and Katharine later joined us in 2005. We continue to be as competitive and passionate as our parents about providing convenient, local, honest, and fair transportation services. Yet, we are a small, independent company that provides excellent service because we strive to be actual movers rather than a faceless national corporation. Ninth, we prioritize consumer satisfaction. We have been relocating for 50 years of existence. We control the company and strive to avoid corporate control so we can give our customers the dedicated service we believe they deserve.
