Spencer Nicholson

Ross Nicholson met Scott Smith at Lerner & Associates in 1979, where Scott was an articling student and Ross was a senior litigator—the two practiced law together for two and a half years. Ross had mentored Scott in law school, and after he articled for Ross, they began having discussions with two other partners about opening a London law firm. This law firm was unique because it was focused on boutique litigation law firm, not the general law firms that existed at the time. Litigation Law was exclusive to criminal and personal litigation handling. The firm was founded in 1981. Scott joined the firm in 1982. Ross and Scott continued to practice law together both as friends and as partners, founding Nicholson, Smith, and Litigation Lawyers in London on July 1st, 1988. The company's office relocated to 295 Central Avenue in 1990, where it continues to offer legal services to clients from across Southwestern Ontario. Junior lawyers and articling students have joined Scott and Ross over the years. Scott Tottle and Spencer Nicholson, joined as partners in the firm in 2008.
