The College of Psychologists of Ontario lists me as a "Registered Psychologist." I hold a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and Health Sciences, thus offering specialized treatment to adults and couples facing mental health or relationship issues. I have over ten years of experience providing psychotherapy, having worked in various settings such as hospitals, prisons, and my private practice. My Ph.D. in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Health Promotion was completed at Western University. My pre-dissertation Psy.D. coursework is complete. I also hold a Doctorate in Psychology from Adler University. Adler also provided me with a Master's in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Psychology (Philosophy of Science), both from Western University. My approach to therapy for individuals and couples is largely rooted in psychodynamic therapy and informed by cognitive behavioral principles. I also draw on mindfulness. I tailor my psychological services to each client’s unique needs and preferences. For brief therapy, I offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT, and Exposure With Response Prevention (ERP). I also provide structured, longer-term therapies, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
