Student Leadership & Youth Empowerment (SLYE)

Student Leadership & Youth Empowerment (SLYE) has been helping youth find and use the supports and resources available. We have been doing this by facilitating youth access to specific resources and supports since 2009. Focus groups were held using third-party evaluators in 2019 and 2020 to determine our desired outcome. This was to make sure all youth could access appropriate resources and that they were actively engaged in their communities. Data collected supports significantly the positive influence that the Peer2 Peer Trainings and Roadshows had on our desired outcome.
