Mohawk College Mississauga Campus is a place for everyone, with a commitment to making an inclusive, diverse, and equitable learning environment. Our students come from various backgrounds, and our community must reflect this. As educators, we must work together to provide leadership and encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion within all parts of the Mohawk community. The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan represents a year’s work of collaboration, research, and consultation amongst departments and staff at all levels. Our plan builds on previous accomplishments and will include initiatives that will result in substantive and measurable change. Mohawk College Mississauga Campus’ EDI Action Plan is still a work in progress, and regular assessments will be done to ensure it meets its aims. This initiative is a long-term strategy and requires collective effort to accomplish its goals.
