At Mississauga Ontario, Northridge Montessori School is a genuine Montessori school. It personalizes child development and fosters self-discovery. The programs and offerings that Northridge provides for its learners are exceptional and have not been recorded in any Montessori school in the area. The program includes academic studies and social activities. This program is based on the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, respecting children and their environment and emphasizing each child's unique learning style. Montessori children are free to be creative thinkers and are in an "outside-the-box" educational setting. The child is offered extensive training on the entire curriculum. The educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori forms the foundation of Northridge's program. Her approach is to provide an environment where children can grow and develop themselves. The Directors and Directresses have a Curriculum Plan, to ensure that a lot of work is done to cover all the Montessori Curriculum as well as the Ontario Curriculum. The work done by children will be appropriately assessed. One progress report will be sent to parents mid-November, and two report cards in February. Students may also have a conference with students at June's end to assess and evaluate their child's achievements to that time. Teachers and parents will have favorite interviews after this meeting and after the next interview. Parent-teacher interviews are also available on request.

The reviews make it clear that Northridge School is rated as exceptional by parents. They like the passionate, caring teachers, the breadth of activities for play and learning, and the excellent curriculum. It is a fact that children are safe in a supportive and respectful learning environment and that both indoor and outdoor spaces are welcoming. There is much appreciation for the way the staff's commitment and great work produce positive results. One parent says that their son potty trained while another reported general independence. The teachers' approach is important because it combines Montessori's holistic style with structured learning, including early math and literacy concepts. Elementary and math concepts are taught in a way that is fun for both 3.5-year-old children and their 1.5-year-old younger siblings. Parents also have positive feedback about the school's management and communication. Suggestions from parents and involving them in decision-making. The school provides a good balance between academic and social-emotional learning. Many of the children have flourished thanks to the supportive environment, rigorous academic programs, and high expectations. The parents' satisfaction is evident from the way their children learn. These happy and confident students' gains are the teachers and the school.
