Sammys Barber Shop

Sammy's Barber Shop is run by Sammy Hasbani, who is committed, diligent, and goal-oriented. Sammy started his hair-cutting career at Silvano's Hair Salon on Main Street in Streetsville in 1995. Sammy credits Silvana, his mentor, saying, "He (Silvano) gave me my start, and I have to thank him." She left him in 1997 and set up shop in Streetsville for many years. Sammy rented a space on Queen Street just south of Britannia with his team. In this location, they spent their time and built a client base that would later follow them to Broadway. According to Sammy, Streetsville is a place where you can shop, eat, and obtain the same respect given to small businesses. It is this traditional customer service approach that inspired Sammy not only to stay in Streetsville but also to move his business into the Village.

Sammy's Barbershop reviewers applaud Sammy's friendly, skilled, and patient service. For children, a haircut can be a stressful task, but parents praise the experience for their youngsters.
