Katie's Dance Connection

Owner and Artistic Director, Katie started Katie's Dance Connection in August 2010. It was always her dream to open a dance studio of her own, and 13 years later, her vision has grown into everything she imagined and more. More than 20 years of dance teaching experience, with a Business Administration-Accounting diploma, allows Katie to combine her passion for dance and her business acumen in a leadership role. She is both B.A.T.D. certified in Modern Dance and Acrobatics and Acrobatic Arts syllabus certified. Katie has completed Rebecca Davies RADAR TECHNIQUE Modules 1 through 6 and has traveled to New York and California to train with the Dance Teacher Summit. She actively seeks to learn and grow in all aspects and genres of dance through conventions, workshops,, and online seminars. Katie choreographs and teaches most genres of dance and has trained many dancers who now attend post-secondary dance programs, are part of university dance teams, teach dance, and have opened their own studios.
