I was already a customer of the store and I wanted a piece of jewelry for my 50th birthday. I went to the store with a friend and found what I wanted: a $1000 18kg rose gold necklace with a diamond pendant. The store had a 70% discount and no tax payment. My boyfriend went to the store with me a week later and said: pick whatever you want for your present. I could choose any jewel regardless of the price, he would pay. But I loved the necklace. I asked the saleswoman: this is 18kg gold, right? Even though it was in the description I asked after all, the promotion was very good. Important: I have never worn jewelry in my life. I prefer to have little and have quality. Well, we bought it and I put the necklace on immediately and the intention was never to take it off my neck again. Yesterday, returning from a cruise, I saw in the car mirror that my necklace was fading!!! I went back home and took the box with the note and saw "18kg gold plate" I had never seen the note because it was at the bottom of the box. I'm outraged, I was tricked, deceived and I want an 18kl gold necklace. How can a store sell a gold plated necklace for $1000??? another thing, it was a promotion where it said: no tax payment.
