Karsh-Masson Gallery is located at Ottawa City Hall's first level, 110 Laurier Avenue West, and is open from 9am to 5pm daily (with the exception of holidays). City Hall Art Gallery is free and wheelchair accessible. Curated and Professional Exhibits Professional artists working in all media show their work. Karsh-Masson Gallery and City Hall Art Gallery have solo and group exhibits and curated shows. They also exhibit works by people from the diplomatic community and other organizations. Each gallery has around eight exhibits per year, each lasting around 11 weeks. The annual program includes artist talks, tours and an exhibit of the City of Ottawa Art Collection. Karsh-Masson Gallery holds an exhibit every two years related to the Karsh award; the next will be in 2024. Exhibits in Public Spaces Public galleries are places for engaging diverse ideas. Ottawa's galleries and the works in them are essential and interesting to their communities. They mirror contemporary art and ideas and help in understanding who we are. Public-space galleries acknowledge past and present forms of seeing and provide ways to appreciate, interpret, and comprehend past and present events.
