Dr. Howard Silverman, Ottawa Plastic Surgery: Dr. Howard Silverman has been one of Ontario's most respected plastic surgeons since 1999. He has performed over 7,000 cosmetic surgeries in Ottawa. Silverman's philosophy is patient-oriented care, and he believes in treating patients with the utmost respect and confidentiality from the first point of contact with his office. He has experience with a wide range of surgical procedures, including breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy-tucks, and liposuction. He also has completed a large number of blepharoplasties. BOTOX(r) is one of the most popular nonsurgical treatments we offer at our Ottawa Cumberland practice. Christena is our highly trained clinical aesthetic nurse specialist who carries out this treatment at our Ottawa office. Christena will be there to meet you and Dr. Boyd, or Dr. Silverman during your consultation. Together, they will listen to your goals and develop a tailored treatment plan. Please let us know if you'd like to receive treatment on the same day as your consultation.
Christena uses a fine needle to inject BOTOX(r) gently and carefully so that the muscles relax and face wrinkles smooth. This makes you look more youthful. You can continue to make normal facial expressions, and no one will know you had BOTOX(r) treatment. Christena only targets specific facial muscles and makes the process as gentle as possible. Overall, it usually takes about 30 minutes.
