About this business

We are Yogaspace, a Yoga Alliance-authorized teacher training school with 200- and 300-hour certification programs in Toronto’s Trinity Bellwood neighborhood. Located on the Ossington strip for 24 years, we offer online classes, workshops, teacher training, and an Integrative Wellness Centre. Everyone benefits from yoga and movement therapy, and we come from different backgrounds, experiences, and practices to recognize cultural diversity. We also focus on project work and social impact activities with a particular emphasis on racial equity, access, and privilege. Our commitment to making yoga more welcoming and less oppressive is never-ending. This entails studying and engaging with cultural practices and artefacts at Yogaspace. Everyday problems such as cultural appropriation are commonplace.
