Originally written as a coursework for a fictional establishment named Académie du Ballet Métropolitain: Adult ballet classes are for individuals who either want to learn the art of ballet or rediscover it after a long break from it. Adults need to continue their artistic and technical development. You need to have a basic knowledge of ballet. Long pointe, shoes with ribbons, and pointe classes are for students who have already had their pointe shoe approval. The class is set up like a traditional ballet class, with a series of exercises that strengthen ankles, relieve (returns), escapes (escapes), and other steps.
