We are all about results from beauty services & products and about infusing them with confidence when we pass them on. Barbarella began in 2009 out of a spare bedroom in an apartment with a spray tan gun. Like most at-home businesses, we had humble beginnings. The salon was inspired by Jane Fonda’s fearless proto-feminist character in the 1968 cult-classic Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy. The vision for this company was availed to the world because of our co-founders, Ashlinn Cassidy and Brittany Mooney. They opened their first store-front location in 2012 with a shared affinity for providing all Montreal babes with a safe, sunless glow with their buzz-worthy spray tans. A love that blossomed into a shared passion for empowering young female entrepreneurs in the beauty biz.
