The Dogue Shop company is a scientific training establishment for animals located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Gaby Dufresne Cyr established the Dogue Shop training center in 1999. In 2001, Gaby Dufresne-Cyr founded the DogueShop training center and acquired a brick-and-mortar school to open the English-speaking, science-based Dogue School. Dogue Shop has a vision, mission, and values. Our mission is to teach animals and their caregivers, and we do this through science-based learning theories and behavior modification. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between humans and animals and promote strong, safe relationships with them. The Dogue Academy remains part of Dogue Shop, but it is growing and requires more space.
Reviews Summary
Reviews rave about the Gaby's Dogue Shop, extolling the expertise, welcoming demeanor, flexibility, and focus on social cognition as well as positive reinforcement techniques that are the antidote to choke chains, "e-collars" and any other non-reward based training methods. The overarching theme is that the classes are of the highest quality and that all of Gaby's clients have been helped (or their dogs sort out their problems). Background: according to the users, most of which seemed satisfied with how the classes went with their dogs, Gabby is great: a natural with both people and animals, a clear talking, and positive teacher, solution oriented. I saw a dramatic increase in responses per class session as well as the dog's learnings, showing that even less social dogs really improved. Gaby equals training.smart.
