Galerie Z Art Space

Z Art Space began in May 2013 and is located in St-Henri, Montreal, Quebec. The gallery resides in an active artistic district filled with studios, galleries, and artist-run centers, and it actively contributes to this rich creative environment. Z Art Space values the development and transformation of artists' practices. Its mission is to support and connect artists, curators, collectors, and the public while fostering dialogues that mirror the social, cultural, and ideological contexts of our times. Z Art Space also believes in contemporary art as a discursive practice, and it promotes this approach in its community and beyond. Starting in 2021, the gallery has operated as a project space favoring innovative new voices in contemporary art practices and curating. It works with Canadian-Chinese artist Zhang He as its patron, who has dedicated generous efforts to these initiatives. Moreover, Z Art Space has collaborated with local and international emerging and mid-career artists to exhibit their works in curated solo presentations and group shows.
