Lifeline is an organization that offers non-sectarian help to those battling addiction. We offer a holistic approach to healing, including youth at risk, with many different approaches. Sustained healing from behavioural and substance addictions requires well-managed growth. Together with the individual, our family helps them heal.
Donations are a big part of our funding. Everybody in need can access our services, regardless of their financial situation. Our team includes social workers, counsellors, and peer support. This provides clients with practical solutions and lifelines.
Today's youth can be saved from becoming tomorrow's addicts. An addiction is the symptom of deeper issues that cause people to disconnect. They are overcome by feelings of isolation and loneliness, which creates a mental, emotional, and physical illness.
It is not drugs, alcohol, or other addictive behaviours that are to blame. However, this temporary relief is provided by these self-destructive or maladaptive behaviours, which only mask the real problem.
Rehab believes that permanent recovery from addiction is possible by healing this deep connection. Through healing the brain's wiring and building intimate relationships between people and themselves, permanent recovery is possible.
