Canadian Hub for Applied and Social Research (CHASR) is a university-based company. CHASR is a non-profit organization that supports and engages academics from various disciplines who conduct research. CHASR uses a cost-recovery business model. It engages academics from various disciplines who study the human experience. CHASR's clients include government agencies (of both federal and provincial nature), non-governmental organizations, and private corporations. CHASR aims to generate quality, reliable, and representative human data for its researchers and clients. Each quarter, CHASR collects random samples of 1000 Canadians during its labour work in its 20-station lab. This sampling happens in March, June, and September of each year. CHASR provides full survey programming and pre-testing services. The survey directly collects limited information from respondents using the Voxco CATI system. In this system, CHASR can receive and make calls to conduits, and respondents receive relevant questionnaires. Voxco Online is available to support CHASR by doing this kind of survey research. This service ensures that a survey that has all the features that are present in the CATI run in the online mode. Survey questionnaires are programmed to be clear, consistent, and logical. Clients can get these surveys directly or by contacting CHASR's sample providers. These surveys are more effective, cheaper, and faster.
