SARM, founded in 1905, is committed to advocating for rural municipal interests and ensuring that the voices of rural communities are heard at all levels of government. We assist our members in interfacing with federal and provincial governments. Our program is ideal for individuals whose role involves decision-making and policy development at the municipal level. SARM encourages those who have experienced racial discrimination or violence to report this to their municipal leaders, local police, and the Human Rights Commission in their jurisdiction. The Municipal Leadership Development Program (MLDP) is a unique program that inspires rural and urban local government leaders in Saskatchewan. This program is perfect for elected or appointed Saskatchewan municipal leaders. To learn more, please go to the MLDP website.
