The Shepherd Dog Club of Calgary Regina Branch (Wascana German Shepherd Dog Club) was founded in the 1970s. The Wascana German Shepherd Dog Club and Obedience were changed in 1976. After the dismissal of the German Shepherd label in 1998, the Wascana Dog Obedience Club Inc. is the new names list. Dogs that have had proper training are always welcomed. The training skills and techniques used allow your canine friend to be a significant part of your family and others as well. This nonprofit organization encourages socialization and respect for all dog breeds. The club's obedience training includes basic companion dog manners and obedience, as well as competitive obedience.
