12 String Studios East College Park's objectives are to establish a welcoming, fun, and safe environment where students are comfortable during classes. We favor a student-lead approach to instruction. We want to tailor the lesson to the student's learning style from the outset. We encourage our instructors to always want to learn more about music while improving their proficiency. Music is great! Some of our instructors have played in multiple countries, toured Canada, and/or had fun exploring Saskatoon during the winter. Various subjects in our music classes include music theory, chord progressions, and the history of music. Also, learn the basics of music harmony. Use interval training to help students recognize chords and distinguish notes without the help of a teacher. Learn to play songs, riffs, notations, harmony, rhythm, music composition, and history of music, recording arts, and performance.
