This holistic development approach recognizes that each child's unique talents, interests, and developmental pace. Furthermore, the directors are all Montessori trained, and the Elementary Directors have Bachelor of Education degrees and are Montessori Masters. The Allegro Montessori program immerses students in authentic Montessori while incorporating French music, physical education, and music enrichment. Every learning experience in Montessori schools involves multiple areas of knowledge. Children often combine their learning, rather than breaking it into separate "subjects."Comprehension in all areas of learning stage, and all these areas are dependent on language. Language studies build on Montessori preschoolers' comprehension of grammar and phonics, leading to creative writing and reading. The Montessori math program combines algebra, geometry, and arithmetic into a joined system that compliments and builds on each other. Children can engage in special research projects in the areas of biology, geography, history, and geology. Children assist in the understanding of the universe's story while engaged in research. Research has shown that children younger than five years old are most likely to learn a second language. Allegro Montessori offers Core French classes twice a week starting at 5 years old.
