Buchinski + Co. was founded by Mike Buchinski, an experienced criminal defense lawyer based in Saskatoon. Mike has been licensed to practice in Saskatchewan and Alberta, where he has represented clients in court from the lowest to the highest levels. In Saskatchewan, Mike has appeared at every court level and successfully prosecuted complex applications and conducted trials for clients during many years' experience. Buchinski + Co. originated from Mike's strong desire to help others when they need it most. His years of experience in criminal law have enabled him to represent clients facing criminal charges. Mike provides passionate, effective, and skilled representation for all of his clients' defenses, Criminal Code and Youth Criminal Justice Act prosecutions. Mike is a graduate of the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. He represented the College of Law in two national Moot Court competitions and was awarded the R. Bruce Ogilvie Memorial Scholarship recognising his leadership capability, advocacy, and participation in politics and athletics. He is a current member of the Saskatchewan Bar, Saskatoon Bar Association, Saskatoon Trial Lawyers Association, and Saskatoon Criminal Defence Lawyers Association, where he was a previous chair of the Young Lawyers North Practice Group of the Canadian Bar Association.
