Welcome to the College of Arts & Science at the University of Saskatchewan. The College, established in 1908, is one of the largest and oldest colleges at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). Our enrolment began with 70 students in downtown Saskatoon’s Drinkle Building, growing to 10,000 today. Our main campus is located on Treaty 6 Territory, the homeland of the Metis and the First Nations. We acknowledge, respect and renew our relationships with these groups. Our 21 departments offer over 60 programs and make up 40 percent of USask total student population. Our 320 faculty members teach more than half of all undergraduate courses at USask. They represent the humanities and social sciences divisions as well as the fine and fine arts. We are the only college offering both arts and science courses. Students here receive a holistic, interdisciplinary education that prepares them for a variety of career paths. Their learning is comprehensive and deep, and it gives them a more profound understanding of the world. The learned skills are flexible and enduring, allowing graduates to lead in a rapidly changing global landscape.
