Securing Metis culture's dynamic success and growth and conducting research and acquiring, preserving, and sharing materials that demonstrate the Metis cultural experience and history to the world. Through the creation of Metis-specific education programs and services, GDI actively develops and delivers educational programs and initiatives, always open to the potential for partnerships. Governance The institute is governed by a board of governors composed of 12 individuals. These board members are appointed by the MN-S president. Reviews of the Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI) and its varied programming are overwhelmingly favorable. Several talk about GDI staff's unfailing friendliness and approachability, as well as their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile. The employment and skills development facilitators Ben and Catherine are worth mentioning; Catherine's attention has been a noticeable difference in empowering adults to make real progress in their development. The tutoring staff is tolerant, well trained, and highly competent, adding a sense of the professional environment. Brandi Up and Lauren Our GDI counselors are the most inventive and engaging ones could find in Saskatoon. The total immersion program director, Kelley, is dexterous and able to adjust the strategy depending on the student. For the team of the Blue Moose Media, GDI is a vibrant and interactive learning environment that has transformed my idea of a community college. Communication and collaboration are promoted in an environment where students feel respected. Jose remained available and supportive throughout the year and moved the class around to respond to the community. Matt The small class sizes allowed the teacher to provide every student with individual attention. Considering the future, the future looks brighter. GDI's current state has improved, with many programs expanding to support individuals and communities in Saskatoon. They also have partnerships that are tailored towards complimenting the program delivery and community participation. GDI is not limited to online learning but concentrates on community participation.
