Glenwood increased its number of service bays to five from 1973-1988. Glenwood became renowned in Saskatoon because it provided exceptional customer service at the pumps and in the bays. Jim lived in that location from 1973-1988. Glenwood Auto Service, situated on the corner of College Drive & Central Avenue in Sutherland, opened its doors on July 4, 1988. Jim's father retired in 2002, and Rob, his oldest son, who worked with him since 1995, took over. Glenwood continued to provide excellent customer service after Jim retired. Jim, who had a talent for making people feel special, passed this skill down to Rob. Glenwood Auto Service has seen its workforce increase under Rob's leadership. In 2002, the team grew from 16 employees to 28 and remains at 28 today.
