Typically, this business is fantastic. But today, not so much. I came in to get my nails done for my grad banquet, which I was looking forward to for a long time. First, I was told I couldn’t see the colors on the paint sample sticks; I had to pick one from a FB picture. Fine, it’s whatever. But the color of my nails was very different from the pictures they showed me. I asked if she could make it more like the example pic they posted on their FB. The girl doing my nails abruptly said no. When I asked why, she hesitated but said it was because I could only have three coats. I asked to put on a fourth coat because this wasn’t what I wanted, but she was hesitant. Had to call my boss over, and she agreed with me the color didn’t match what they posted. She told her to put a thicker coat on it. But the nail technician only added two more thin coats, and it was still nowhere near what was depicted on the pic on FB :( I also wasn’t happy with how my toes turned out, so I chose a different color for my fingers. The exact same thing occurred; I asked for another coat, but she said it’s supposed to be natural. Still, I didn’t like the look, and I felt that it wasn’t worth the $100 I paid for and that I wasn’t listened to and was quite rushed. Just really too bad since I wanted to feel special for my big day tomorrow.

Reviewers on May Nails agree the salon offers top-quality nail and pedicure treatments. The majority of regular clients rave about the consistent service they receive, with many citing the pleasant, professional staff as a primary motivator for their return. They are particularly pleased with May's gel nail treatments. Pedicures are also a favorite with new customers, as the first-time pedicure comments were very positive and happy, touting the initial cost and comfort. Kim is a favorite member of the team, with many customers appreciating her attention to detail and thorough pedicures, and having undergone five years of treatment without any issues, enjoying the welcoming, clean, and relaxing salon environment. Some clients have gotten the best treatment imaginable, but it's worth noting that a couple felt unwelcome because of one staff member's attitude; there was a mention of a worker, Lou, who was accused of being impolite and haughty however, other than that, May Nails' work seemed uniform and helpful. The only few exceptions aside, these all indicate a solid, consistent choice for nail and foot treatment. Approximately 80% of these critical assessments came from customers who lived in the Pacific Northwest. May Nails should be proud of the name it has earned with its customers.
