About this business

Remai Modern gathers and transmits contemporary and modern art involving diverse viewers, both locally and worldwide. It includes accessibility and equity programmes. The Museum aspires to embody a public space where all are welcomed, treated with respect, and can come together to commemorate and interact with the past and present. We acknowledge that the Nehiyawak, Dakota, and Métis of Round Prairie helped to establish what is now Saskatoon. We also recognize the Nehiyawak and Nehinawak in the province and the Denesuline, Nahkawe, Nakota, and Lakota. These acknowledgments respect the rights of all our ancestors, a relationship we affirm. Remai Modern planning principle is to collaborate with Indigenous communities to develop a plan that would not only foreground Indigenous perspectives but also promote the organization’s self-determination. In order to improve the reconciliation process, Remai Modern, as a colonial settler institution, is responsible for Indigenous education. Remai Modern is a settler colonial institution and must act as such. As part of Remai Modern's commitment, all aspects of the museum should be open to Indigenous people, their requests, and their suggestions for improving it. Remai Modern recognizes as essential the work of decolonization, more so as it is reconciled with systemic change. Remai Modern recognizes that this is a long-term process and that the current plan (Remai Modern's strategic pan is five years long) can't cover the entire plan.

Visitors highly recommend the museum, posting outstanding overall UX design and constantly alternating works and exhibitions. All the stakeholders provide a fantastic description of the beauty of the museum and its uses. It is particularly impressive for its collaborations and exhibits the aesthetics and serene view across the river. The artwork is also astonishing, and the new spinner installation ranks as one of the best in Saskatoon and all collections. The new Picasso linocuts are broad and appealing, with many artworks readily available at the front entrance. The museum has well-designed floors and stories. To include the history of the events of 2020 till now, we have a history section with captivating creative stories from consumers. Many visitors believe that it is good and that its general appearance is fantastic. They all had excellent tours and were free to use their cameras efficiently. They found relaxation rooms and seats and a restaurant to eat. Many tourists have declared that the current exhibit has new content and that their return trip was undoubtedly fun.
