The Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children, which was founded in 1950, achieved this goal. In just one year, it had programs for the treatment of children and adults affected by polio. Due to these expansions, the Council was renamed and became the Saskatchewan Council for Crippled Children and Adults. Our charitable foundation was incorporated under The Non-profit Corporations Act 1995 of Saskatchewan on a date, and we became a charity as per the Income Tax Act. Our mission is to offer programs and services for disabled individuals in Saskatchewan and establish comprehensive communities. Our board is made up of volunteers from Saskatchewan who dedicate their time and expertise to help us achieve our mission and vision.
