ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

At Saskatoon Smiles Dental, general dentistry treatments are available, as is preventative treatment. The Invisalign process requires a series of transparent, detachable aligners to gradually move teeth back into the required place. There are no brackets or wires, and no other constraints that come with metal braces. Custom-designed Invisalign aligners will be switched out every two weeks for six to eighteen months. The aligners were constructed based on a 3D scan of the teeth. The planners have taken the user's satisfaction into account. The aligners have been created using materials that maximize comfort. The Saskatoon Smiles staff is a team of highly trained dentists who provide a comprehensive range of treatments, such as orthodontics, general dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. This dental clinic near you is staffed by skilled and enthusiastic dentists who are devoted to their job. Patients can expect a stress-free and comfortable appointment. Saskatoon Smiles is the place to go if you need a local dentist. The dental team at Saskatoon Smiles can provide emergency and ongoing dental therapy. The metal braces were once the most common option for orthodontic treatment. Ceramic braces are a wonderful option. Ceramic brackets are the same shape and color as teeth and are visually appealing.

SUMMARY   Reviews Summary

The reviews are overwhelming positive about Saskatoon Smiles. Patients expressed excellent recommendations because of quality patient-centered care and professional, friendly staffs. This includes Mel, Maddy and Wes for their kindness and knowledge and provide patients with a comfortable and calm dental experience. Key was the patient care and calm nature mentioned by many patients, and they revealed that the clinic goes the extra mile to make the patient experience amazing. Another patient reported that Dr. Antosh is honest and keeps all treatments necessary. There were many good comments about cleanliness and the inviting environment of the clinic. One good thing was the entire team's willingness to fit in patients during all appointments, and another was concerning their problem with cleanliness in the Covid panic. Above all is the consistent feedback from patients who have switched contradictions on the patient's comfort and sociable clinic staff.

I strongly advise - honestly, beg of anyone reading this - look elsewhere for any dental work. The Dentists at any Saskatoon Smiles office have no regard for their patient's safety and will be covered legally by the owner Wes Antosh. The College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan Complaint Case #20-46 Dr Alpna Krisgnaswamy & Dr Wes Antosh. Though I have minimal information as to reprocussions either Dr encountered from my complaint, the complaint was taken to the board and after speaking to a director I was informed that there were consequences that could not be shared with me due to privacy concerns. Though I did recieve a joke of an apology from one and I have a letter from Wes Antosh to my general practioner admitting damage was done. 2017 I was having troubles with my wisdom teeth, went to Hampton Dental originally they had told me it was too complicated I would need orthodontal but called me back and said they had a dentist who "thought she could do it". It went absolutely horrendous. I was provided legal forms from a very nice young lady with very minimal English skills. The assistant dropped multiple tools which were put back in my mouth, I believe the dentist (Krishnaswamy) continuously hit my top tooth with the cutting saw(though she assured me it wasn't, just kick back) and the point where I decided she would have to finish the 1 tooth she had in pieces but would not be letting her continue on the second as planned was when she asked the assistant "Is there is anything else long and pointy in here". Once she had finished that tooth I said no more, she screamed at me that "its surgery, its going to hurt and its going to take awhile". The next day I noticed I had not regained feeling in my jaw or tongue on that side, the office informed me that sometimes the nerves are hit with the freezing give it a couple days. Days turned into weeks, Wes was contacted and checked me out, as it turned out the dentist had cut the nerves in my jaw. Wes assured me that the feeling would return. I had no intentions of legal action or going for reprocussions, I just wanted my mouth fixed. He originally offered to send me to someone who may be able to fix the problem but after finding out it was $300 to walk through the door retracted his offer. I continued to try and work with him for 3 years on this, every single time he told me that it would correct itself in 1year, 2 years, 3 years(this is also noted on the letter to my doctor)....once the 3 years was up and I could no longer take him or the dentist to court because the statue of limitations had run out he washed his hands of me and refused to discuss the subject any further. That was when I decided to take them both to the College of Dental Surgeons. It has now been 5 years. I had to learn to talk again properly, there is constant pain, tingling and itchiness on that side of my mouth, I am unable to taste on that side of my mouth. I have just about bit all the way through my tongue on that side and so many horrible experiences. I am glad it was me and not my child who went through this, but I would never wish this to happen to anyone again. Please consider any other group of dentists.
