EMG Solicitors Review 1. The experience of this company's work is nothing but disgraceful. We were ignored and not kept informed of the conveyancing process. The managing partner never returned any calls or explained his team's bizarre behaviour. He refused a formal complaint. Incredible lack of empathy and responsiveness. The reasons conveyancing transactions drag on and on and on. All the parties are communicating effectively in a chain of five transactions but this firm has put the complete chain at risk of collapse purely through lack of communication for weeks. We are baffled and upset about this. The timelines for exchange and completion have been missed and we have had to endure the stress of months of uncertainty and no resolution. We have concerns about the advice given by the firm, as we are also part of the same company chain of transactions, so are privy to conversations with the other parties. We have not been informed at all about these conversations or negotiations by the firm. This has resulted in a situation where neither we nor the other parties are fully aware of the state of the chain. If another buyer or seller pulls out or a deadline is missed, we risk losing our property, avatar home, or exchange. We have no trust in this firm and we are heartbroken at the thought of losing our dream property.2. We had a really positive experience when buying/selling our house with EMG Solicitors. We had good communication and the firm worked quickly. We were always happy to answer our questions and chase up any queries. I was also impressed by the fact that we always dealt with named solicitors or trainees at the firm and were not passed around on a switchboard. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.3. I rarely feel motivated to write a negative review of a business, as I am also running one myself, I understand the frustration that this can cause. We instructed EMG ($) to produce employment contracts for a somewhat self-employed member of staff at my clinic business. EMG quoted me £900 for this. I decided to proceed, as I was assured that this would be a straightforward process. They were initially helpful. However, it became clear that our emails were not being read and, despite us repeatedly chasing, the process became more and more drawn out. We responded promptly and thoroughly to their questions.
