All are welcome! The Red Cat opened in 2008 with the idea to balance our personal preferences and customer desires for coffee, ambiance, and style. We were not interested in blindly following the third-wave of coffee. We questioned every facet to determine which parts are most useful. Sometimes coffee is not an exact science but rather an enjoyable experience. We wanted a Birmingham coffee shop that would be a familiar place for all of Birmingham's residents and cater to their tastes. Coffee for all is our motto. Our success is gauged by how well this idea comes alive when our doors are opened every day. You will find specialty coffee treated carefully but accessible to all coffee enthusiasts. The Red Cat in Birmingham is a place for people to gather and enjoy good food and great coffee.
