Ascend Dance Academy offers an extensive range of dance classes in Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Broadway, and Pilates for kids from 2-18 years old. We emphasize performance and technique proficiency in all types of dance. Throughout the year, students can choreograph and perform their dances. The American Ballet Theatre (r) National Training Curriculum is the foundation of the Ballet Classes. It is an age-appropriate curriculum with a systematic and organized training that facilitates learning and progress. By establishing clear learning goals and outcomes, this "best practices" curriculum allows us to ensure that every class moves our students closer to those goals, regardless of their age or previous experience. We categorize our students into three programs according to their age and development. Our Sprout Program ensures that our youngest dancers, ages 2-5, develop natural rhythms and creative play. The Leap Program introduces our 5-7-year-old dancers to ballet and jazz dance. In the Peak Program (age 7+), dancers enjoy an extensive range of styles. Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Modern Dance, Broadway, and Pilates are all available, creating an inclusive and multifaceted learning experience. Additional open dance classes are available for older students. Private lessons are available for dancers who want more advanced training or a competitive edge. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for dance in all of our students, regardless of age or skill.
