I was there for the change from Sabis to PTAA about 2 years ago it was okay at first. When the school finally switched from Sabis to PTAA we had a teacher that would go around and stare at the girls, during math class once i had my phone under my thighs and he tried taking it from me by sticking his hand between my legs. After student constantly complaining about said teacher they finally fired after 4 months of constant complaining. Other then that teacher everything was well until I got SA'd by a fellow student at a school event (that I later found out had been SAing not only the 8th grader girls but the 7th graders) and I told the now vice principle Mr. Perales who at the time was a social studies teacher who then told principle West. After having a meeting with both of them they told me to not tell the then vice principle at the time and keep my mouth shut and tell no one. they took the person that SA'd me to the principles office and told him to take a "voluntary week off" from school so that " the situation could cool down." after not suspending him or even calling the cops after multiple girls came forward about the same student doing the same thing he came back to school laughing and smiling away. They took me to talk to the counselor who asked me why I thought my assaulter would do such a thing and asked me what I was wearing. I still had to share the same classroom with him, Mr. Perales (who I originally told about the assault) said to me one day after I watching him make jokes and laugh with my assaulter looked at me and seeing how upset I was said to me "what's wrong? boy problems??". One day I couldn't take it anymore and started balling my eyes out. Mr. Perales then called the counselor who I didn't want to talk to to come and pick me up, he had to push me out of the classroom to see the counselor outside. as I was balling my eyes out my math teacher (who I had told so I could switch seats to be farther from him) came and gave me a hug and calmed me down and convinced me to at least try and talk to the counselor. when I entered a random classroom she would use she sat me down and told me that one of the girls that the same student had assaulted didn't want to admit that she was assaulted to try and not get her parents involved. she looked at me and told me that if she didn't tell them that it would be like she and I were lying and that nothing that we both said ever happened. I left the room after having small talk with her and went to the vice principle at the time and told him everything. I told him how they told me and my friends to not say anything to him about the assault. I found out that day the reason why they didn't want me to tell him was because he was in charge of the students and if anything happened to the students he should have been the first person to be told. he told me to fill out a title 9 file and I did. he said that whatever happened in the future that the title 9 would stay on his record. about 6 months ago I found out that the title 9 had been removed from his record by an administrator at the school. I don't know for sure who removed it but I know in my heart it was Mr. Perales. This has been the worst experience of my life the amount of times I have almost committed suicided because of this experience. I know this may seem as though I'm being petty but I want you to know that these people are still working at this school as THE VICE PRINCEPLE AND PRINCEPLE. if I could I would give this place nothing as a rating. I say this to let you all know that THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR KIDS HERE!! they only care about test scores and money. the more kids attend here the more money they get form the government. Don't come to this school
