About this business
Scottsdale Artists' School is a 501(c),(3) charity founded in 1983 by committed community leaders and artists interested in offering basic art instruction to everyone interested in art. It is located in downtown Scottsdale Arts District, a work of art itself. The building, which dates back to 1928, is on the City of Scottsdale Historic Register and was once the second city grammar school, Loloma Elementary. It features distinct Spanish Colonial Revival-style gabled roofs and glazed saltillo tile floor. The school year has over 200 art classes, with many open to the public, in addition to the Youth and Teen Academy, which hosts classes for the next generation of fine artists. Many of America's most famous visiting and local artists teach at the School. These artists are incredibly experienced and dedicated to their craft.
