Windsor Ridgecrest Healthcare

Established in 1985, Windsor Ridgecrest Healthcare has a bed capacity of 200 in single and double rooms. The single rooms have full-length windows that open onto a roof terrace. A large living room has a huge TV. On one side is the refectory for social gatherings and the other a game area with big recliners. The Viewing Room is a deliberately built room where residents may watch movies, sports, and special programs on a wall-size TV. This room also hosts club parties that involve birthday and wedding events. The Main Activity Room has a small kitchen for seniors to try new recipes and ample room for creative arts and crafts activities. The Main Dining Area is an amazingly long and wide room that can accommodate a large group of people on special events such as our quarterly family nights with live entertainment.

Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff has received excellent feedback, with one user noting, "I was very grateful to know two nurses, Jen and Mari, they went beyond taking care of Don Hill." Families were very grateful for this welcomed staff attitude. One survey read, "You'll have been great i got my new wheel chair from jenn!!! yeah and i don't lie." One survey stated, "My mom has been at Ridgecrest since November 2018 and the care she has received has been magnificent. The effort they are putting in is unusual." One respondent even mentioned that their elders had never had a skin ulcer. This is an unheard of level of commitment. The readiness to offer the proper line of treatment during the COVID-19 crisis was appreciated by families, with the facility keeping its members secure. Another participant said, "To this date, there has been ZERO cases of the virus at the SNF." One respondent even said, "Mom became ill yesterday, had a fever of 100.6 and the staff and the medical director responded immediately. The way they care for residents is commendable." It is clear from these reviews that Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has an excellent reputation for doing an exceptional job in times of adversity, such as COVID-19.
